My most pressing concern about AI is how panicky many people are about it. Because I think that panic is a terrible state for solving actual problems and coming up with creative ways to use something safely and productively. I think if we all studied the history of the popularization of photography, we'd realize that people have said the same thing before... And the less we panic and the more we plan, the better off we'll be.
Great point–panic is absolutely a poor place to make decisions from! I see it all the time in my AI classes; it is one of the first things I have to defuse before people have enough mental bandwidth to be able to settle in and learn.
I think SAILOR is a great way to look at AI adoption.

Sounds like you are doing great work!
Thank you for this!
I like your SAILOR acronym, Ariel! Looking forward to your future posts on AI :)
